Island is a Training Grounds for Fighters and Adventurers. Train in the
Arenas to earn credits and Unlock the Phoenix Scroll. Once players have
Opened a Phoenix Scroll they Learn Skills to aid them in thier fights.
Names that are added to the Scrolls will be Remembered and given the chance to become known as ArenaMasters. The basic game is simple... F3 to fight. S to view your Stats. ? for More Info. The Rules... don't harass other players, don't hog an Arena, and PvP must be consensual. Hitpoints and credits are controlled by Entry Codes. Inventory, Skills/Spells and Effects are controlled by DS buttons. Levels (Ranks/Titles), Experience and Coins are controlled by PhoenixSpeak. Arenas: Arenas automatically equip a player with a weapon when the fight begins. After the fight begins is when a Weapon PowerUP should be activated. The Duel Arena: When 2 Furres have entered the Duel Arena, Random Identical Weapons (1-5) are Automatically Equipped for the Fighters. The Duel starts a 2 Minute Timer that Resets the Arena if there is no Winner or One of the Players has left the Dream. A Win automatically emits the name of the Winner and resets the Arena for a new duel. Rewards for winning a duel are minimal and meant to be for fun and "bragging" rights. The Monster Arenas: There are 5 Monster Arenas. Each arena is a little more difficult than the next. Arenas Equip a Weapon based on the Monster's Difficulty. The more difficult the Arena, the more credits and experience you recieve. A Player that defeats all the monsters in an Arena recieves bonus credits and experience, 1. Undead, 2. Orc, 3. Black Knight, 4. Dark Sorceror, 5. Chaos Beast The Gauntlet:: The Gauntlet Does NOT equip a weapon. Players Must have a weapon equipped when entering the Gauntlet. More than 1 player can enter the Gauntlet before the Challenge begins but once it has begun the Fighting Area is Locked. To begin the Gauntlet Challenge and Begin each Round Move onto the Center Tile to add 60 Seconds to a countdown timer. Any Time Remaining is applied to the Next Round. The object is to complete as many Rounds as Possible before the countdown timer reaches 0. Each Round the Number of Lost Souls, thier Attack Power and Hitpoints Increases. PowerUps: Click the Blue Crystal to open up the PowerUp Panel. Players must use Coins or Tokens to purchase a PowerUp (though some PowerUps can be found for free in other ways). Click the PowerUp in the Panel and if you have enough coins or tokens and an Activation button will appear. Click it to Activate the PowerUp. A Player may only have 1 of each PowerUp at any time. + Weapon changes the weapon a player is holding to a higher level weapon up to the max Weapon. + Auras set a players hit points to 200 for +1 and 300 for +2 x Power Rings multiply the Damage Roll x2 and x3 The cost is the + or x modifier of the PowerUp 1, 2, or 3 coins or tokens. Skills: After a player earns 25 credits the first Phoenix Scroll will appear. Clicking the Scroll makes a Skill Book appear which unlocks Level 1 Skills. It also allows a player to be added to the PS database if accounts are available and players that are added can then gain experience and levels. As a player raises in Levels they can learn new Skills that are then added to the Skill Book. Click the Skill Book to Display and Load a Known Skill. Click the Skill to Get it Ready. Click the Readied Skill to Use it. Skills use Mana. There are 3 Types of Skills and 3 Slots you can have Readied. Strength, Endurance, and Signets. Strength adds to the minimum and maximum damage of an attack. Endurace skills work the same as an Aura PowerUp Signets add to the Current hitpoints up to a maximum of 500 hp. Exceeding 500 hp is the same as dying. The Phoenix Scroll: The Phoenix Scroll first appears when a player has earned 25 credits. It's primary purpose is to allow players to auto-add themselves to the PhoenixSpeak database provided there are accounts available. Otherwise, the player recieves a free PowerUp and 2 Tokens that can be used like coins. If there are accounts available the player is added to the PhoenixSpeak database and can then earn Levels and collect Coins. As a player gains Levels they are given titles (Fighter, Warrior, Knight, Crusader, ArenaMaster, DragonSlayer), can learn new Skills and recieve more Inventory Items in thier Backpack. By default there are 50 available accounts. In the event there are no available accounts a player can be redirected to a site with information on how to sign-up or register to be manually added when an account becomes available. When the festival dream reaches the 50 account max, there will be a link added pointing to the Furcadia Forums where players can sign-up or register to be added to the PhoenixSpeak database. Tips: The best fighting technique is hit and run to avoid being hit. "Herd" the monsters so they can't surround you. If you can't afford to buy a PowerUp, Eating a Fish adds 25 hp, Eating Grapes and Catching a Fairy restores all Mana, and Releasing a Fairy will give you a Free PowerUp and +2 Endurace. Killing a Red Dragon rewards you with 1 of each PowerUp you don't already have. |
