BattleMasters
I've had a bunch of trouble recently with the new ClanWars dream, but have now rebuilt it from a backup. The name has also gone full circle and is back to the Original name I was using when I first started making it. I know it's been up and down, but hopefully I'll be able to keep this version up for awhile. It will be loaded in AI and I'll be working on the help page for some detailed information on how to make a clan, capture the fortresses, and the new "Unique" weapons. I'm really pretty much done with this dream since there are some other projects I want to work on.

Happy Hollidays and 10th Celebration!
I haven't really been able to focus on one idea lately, but have been dragging my feet on having any events in quite sometime. ArenaMaster always had the best events so from now until the beginning of the New Year I've reset the AreanaMaster's database and will be keeping him loaded as much as possible in Challenges.

Dream Downloads and Message Board
In honor of Furcadia's 10th Anniversary I've made most of my pre-database system dreams available for download right here! I've also setup a Message Board I hope people will use to give me some feedback on my Dreams... questions, likes, dislikes, favorites, wishlists, etc. or even just posts about anything that interest you. I'll also use it to try and answer any DS questions.
I've got alot keeping me buzy right now, I'm still developing ClanLords, working on a few ideas to setting up Evolution somewhere semi-permanent, a Master Mason Challenge I'm working on, not to mention it's Christmas time and all the things that need to be done in RL for that, so all my dream weaving has really slowed down.

Evolution 2nd Place
There are some really awesome dreams in the Festival this year.
I remember my first contest I didn't care at all and was shocked when I won 3rd.
I was strangely nervous with this one and if some of exibition dreams had been judged would have been crushed...o.O I'm going to have to try something more tounge in cheek with some humor... this Clan Lords is starting to get even Darker....
Maybe I should call it Fortress of Evil...
It's getting an insane Magic System though... almost overwhelming, I have 32 different spells and skills layed out needing to be coded and an idea for another system I can weave into it for at least another 4-8 skills.

ClanLords
I've finally settled on a name for the new dream. It still has beast you can ride but the emphasis is now on the Team / Clan system I've got working. The person who forms a team is the ClanLord and every member shares the experience and loot, crossfire or friendly fire damage is ignored for team members and the command ?? will show team IDs, locations, and current HP. It supports 8 active ingame Teams with 4 members each. Though only 8 teams can be ingame at any time, it will track the score of any Team that is created since it disbands a Team when the ClanLord leaves the dream, but saves the Team score so it can be reformed at another time.
I've now made it so that you can change class in the Acadamey and keep any levels gained. Class items can be used by any class, but only the proper class will get the Class Item Bonus.
At level 5 you learn new skills and get a New Class Title. The Level 5 Class items in the Dungeon will now increase damage as well as give Class Bonuses though they cannot be "summoned" like the starting weapons.
I've also added gold (drops from dungeon database monsters only), potions and elixers that can be bought from the Gypsy and Armor Upgrades from the Armorer. I will also be adding the ability to buy extra training points from the Trainer soon.
It's got so much in it now I'm going to have to make a page for it as a Players Guide and Manual with details about the Skills, Weapons, Conditions, Items, Monsters, etc. as the brief information in game just barely scratches the surface.
I'd say it's the most extreme Stat Tracking dream I've done so far.

Dragon Speak Systems
Work on ClanWars is still progressing, but I've taken some time to add a new section to the website with some of the templates I use in alot of my dreams. Keep in mind these are just the templates and for most actual dreams I do some modifications to them. Some also are just a small part of a bigger system and don't really do much alone. They are presented more for people to see the approach and concepts I used to get different sorts of effects in a dream.

11/16/06:
ClanWars: Monster Generators
So far I've got 4 types of monsters in the database. 2 Boss types 4 each ingame, and 2 Minion types with "Monster Generators". Each type actually shares stats until one is killed at which time the stats are reset for the next one. Currently they only have "reactionary" attacks and one has a proximity effect. You can put conditions on them like Burn, Bleed, and Poison which makes them loose hp over time (30 sec Max). They will be "learning" skills in the next phase of coding and if all the conditions are met can use the skills on players even if the player isn't attacking them. I'm also working on a system where players can form teams and share the experience and loot to encourage team play. I also want to set it up so you're attacks don't hurt your team mates since some of the fights can get a bit crazy and players can get caught in the crossfire. I can invision a Team of a Fighter and Mystic really rocking the Dungeon. The Fighter dealing out the damage and the Mystic keeping him alive.

11/4/06:

ClanWars: BeastMasters

Yeah... I changed the name again... don't know if this will stick or not either, but with 2 rideable beast, one in the "Wild" and one in the Dungeon. They increase your stats dramatically too. Ostrix doubles your attack and defense, and the Lizard triples it. I've started working the dungeon monsters into a data base too and they have stats. You can type ? facing a player or a database monster to see the "critical" stats like Level, hitpoints, magicpoints, but there are also some "unseen" stats like attack and defense too with some others I'll be adding... including data that will modify thier actions and reactions....

10/26/06:
ClanWars: Might & Magic
I've changed the name of the new ClanWars and have been refining alot of the "systems" I've used in the past. The biggest break through has been taking the skill and spell system to a new level. On top of the enchantment and aura type spells that I came up with in Evolution, I've come up with a system that allows "conditions". This really opens up the flood gate for alot of new spells and skills. So far I've added Bleed, Poison, Curse, Bless, Focus, Quickness and Cure. A condition is temporary and is cleared every 30 seconds, but can do alot of harm or good if it is used at the beginning of the timer. Bleed for example will do 2 damage every second and Bless will remove any condition and heal +2 hp every second.  Right now they don't effect the monsters but I'm trying to come up with a way so that they will. I think it will require I create a monster data base with set stats rather than the "floating" variables and when I do I should be able to give the monsters some of the same skills and spells to use on players.

ClanWars: BattleMasters
I finally recieved my confirmation that Evolution has been recieved for the Wolf Howl, and as obsessive as I can get with Dreamweaving and DS I've started another dream. It's still in the "SpiritQuest" universe but is a new take on the Clan Wars theme with PvP focus and Class / Skill development.  I also added the ability to Ride and Fight off of Carrie Okaye's Ostrix from her Ostrix Joust Dream. I'm not sure yet, but I'm thinking that rather than use the Dragon/Phoenix concept for Clans I'll use the TEAM concept from StarFighters and let players create thier own Clans.

Evolution Sumbitted to Wolf Howl
I've decided to submit Evolution so I'll quit messing with it, so it will no longer be available until it is loaded in the Wolf Howl. I have been loading some of my old dreams that people have been requesting.

9/30/06:
Final Testing and Tweaking
I almost ruined it and went too far this weekend so had to backup...
It's virtually finished now and I've added Armor, the Lost Boy Bonus Quest, the ability to take some items out of your bag so you can give them to a friend as well as many other fine tuning tweaks. It  will be up in AI for this weekend for some final testing to see just what sort of things can still "break".

9/24/06:
Quests and Challenges Complete!
I let my DS obsession take over and managed to get all the Quests, the Sleeper, and a really cool "progressive" Gauntlet Challenge done with DS to spare. I'll be adding some Cloaks for Armor and some special effects. I'll also be working on some fine tuning. If the dream is up for testing and tuning you can check it out with this link:

9/22/06:
DS Crunching and Private Testing
I've finished the Primary Quests and added a Skin and since I'm making this for the Wolf Howl (which hasn't even been announced yet) I'm thinking I need to keep as much of the rest of it a surprise as possible. So, the current builds will not be readily accessible to everyone, although I will be needing some players that can finish the Primary Quests to test. I'm also hit 7k lines of DS and have quite a bit I'm still wanting to add, though I did manage to get 2 quests with 6+ "bosses" squeezed into about 300 lines of DS. It looks like it's going to take some crunching of DS to squeeze everything I want to do out of the 8k max.

9/15/06:
Hall of Heroes, All New Sleeper Challenge and a Merchant
The last few days has seen alot of people finishing all the Quests I've done so far so I thought it was time to add the Hall of Heroes and a Challenge for those that need more to do. I've also added a Merchant that Sells Runes and Amulets that can temporarily increase your Defense and Attacks with Auras that "stack".
I'll be adding the Last Few Quests and the Gauntlet Challenge soon as well as Cloaks that can be bought from the Merchant.

9/10/06:
New Quests, New Spells, New Classes
I got a little obsessive with DSing this weekend and did alot of general tweaking.
I changed the whole building of the Clan Halls system and added 4 New Quest, 4 New Spells, and 4 New Classes. Tommy helped me track down some of the bugs and now I'm just going to leave it up for awhile to see how it holds up in the long term.
SpiritQuest the bot is there so you can just `join SpiritQuest to find the Dream.

9/7/06:
Tombs, Runes, Enchantments and Auras
I've pretty much eliminated Favor for players. It just was working how I'd imagined it would. But I've added a much more challenging area where the next set of Quests will be "The Tomb of the Ancients". It is a much more difficult area and introduces some new items. Blue Keys (to Open Chests) Gold Keys to Open Locked Passages, and Runes which can be used for a Random Magical Effect. Full Heal, Aura of Defense (that stacks on itself and the Aura of Protection) and an Enchantment of Power that enchances your Attack.
This is in preparation for New Spells that will be found in the Tombs as well as New Classes that will allow a player to use a chosen Spell Type without having to hold a Spellbook.

9/1/06:
Favor of the Ancients
I know my dreams can be confusing, especially during the development part.
I'm currently working with an idea or concept called "Favor" that is used to develop the Clan Halls as well as increase the "Status" of the Clan.
To most it will seem really wierd, but I think it will add an interesting element to the "Evolution" and Story aspect of the dream as well as give the Clan rather than individuals a goal to work towards.
In fact it will take a group of players to build the Clan Halls. When conditions are right the Ancients will grant the Clan a blessing. This is the first Upgrade or Level and adds a Clan Craftsman who will build floors for the Clan Hall. At Level 2 the Craftsman gains a New Skill and builds chairs. More Levels and Skills are in development with plans to add a Landscaper as well as an Armorer and Clan Storage.
There is also a Temporary Aura of Protection players can get from the Oracle in the Clan Hall that reduces monster damage.

8/26/06:
Evolution Update
Evolution is starting to progress nicely and I've made a page for it where you can see some information on what you can do so far and what is in the works.
Rather than choosing a class however, the classes are based on the Quests you have completed, although there will be 4 "specialized" Classes you can choose from when you finish the "Focus" Quest.
I feel like I've made some breakthroughs in my Monster and Boss sytems too as they fight back alot more realistically than any other dream I've made.
The Quest / Boss system is the best I've come up with so far as I can make alot of different Quests with Bosses that increase in difficulty with minimal DS.
So far I've added 7 primary Quest (with 3 Bosses), 3 Bonus Quest, plus the ID tracking/lock and load system, time module, and world builder using less than 3k lines of DS which leaves me over 5k lines to add more Quests, Challenges.
Some extras that I plan to include are a merchant system as well as a Clan Hall construction system.

8/17/06:
SpiritQuest: Evolution
I've started developing SpiritQuest: Evolution again though it's going very slowly.
Some may have seen and even gone into it in AI and I know it is confusing and somewhat pointless so far. My intention is to merge the ideas and environments from SpiritQuest and ClanWars into an RPG environment where your character can "Evolve" into various classes. There will be a number of quests. The first set focus on choosing a base class (Fighter or Hunter), then joining a clan (Dragon or Phoenix).
From there the classes will be able to advance to Warrior or Ranger and from there become "Hybrid" Classes by focusing on a "school" of magic.
I've also had alot of request to include the "Sleeper" somewhere in the dream as it has always been a very popular enemy to fight as well as a fun reoccuring "theme" in my fantasy based dreams.

8/09/06:
AFK:Playing Guild Wars

I must say I've been a bit disappointed by the turn out in my Festival Submission and as a result I haven't been motivated to hold a contest with it.
I still want to, but it won't be the dream on the Festival Grounds since I did find a little bit of a glitch caused by a few lines of DS I'd commented out.
That glitch is fixed and I've changed the entry point to the Starfighter's Lounge.
When I do hold a contest the prizes will be a Dragon Digo, Portrait Spaces, Some Roses, and some Silver Dragonscales.
The Grand Prize will be the Dragon Digo for Top Gun, with other prizes going to various other categories like Best Team, Break the Bank, Best Fisherman.
I don't have a date for it yet but will Load it a bit more often as

7/3/06:
StarFighters: Lock and Load Submitted
StarFighters has been submitted to the Summer Festival as an Exibition Dream.
I won't be loading it myself in Furcadia anymore, so for those that have enjoyed it you'll have to go to the festival grounds to play (assuming it is accepted).
I do plan on having a contest with it during the festival sometime with a Dragon Digo and portrait spaces as prizes.

6/25/06:
SpaceQuest 2: Starfighters
I'm starting to burn out on this project for a number of different reasons, but it is virtually finished except for a few cosmetics and storyline additions. It essentially is SpaceQuest 2 and I plan on submitting it for exibition in the Summer Festival to demonstrate just how it is possible to have DS do what you might have to have a bot take care of. During Contests I will setup my SpaceQuest bot so you can `join the dream without having to hunt it down and so that I can match furre names with thier IDs for any contests I might have.

6/23/06:
StarFighters New Build
There are now 6 Planets to capture and colonize as well as some more tweaks.
Bumping Furres will show thier ID number as well as if they are on a Team.
If you are on a planet when you bump a Furre that's not of the same team there is a chance you will displace them from the planet to Alpha Base. You can now have a psudeo fight on the planets that will prevent blockers if you are trying to capture the planet as well as let you defend if you are being invaded.

6/15/06:
Capture the Planets
I've been slowly adding the planets and tons of new features along with alot of debugging. Too much to really outline, but for those playing there will probably be a daily update until all the planets have been added and debugged. I'm also noting all the whispers the upload alt is getting. I've added a bunch of code to control blockers on teleports, launch pads and bays as well as some code that will move anyone that is trying to block the spot where you drop the defense grid kit to capture a planet.

6/10/06: New Build in the Works
I'm in the middle of a major update to StarFighters that adds Planets to Capture in the Genisis System. The system of capturing, developing and holding a planet is a bit complex so It's taking me a bit longer to get ready for serious testing.

6/1/06:
New Genisis now accessible in StarFighters
Thanks to Tommy Fairplay and Arasuki and many other furrees playing this past weekend I finally have the ID Tracking running very consistantly without Lost IDs or swapping! It certainly seemed to run very good up until the server restart today which revealed flaws in my "Server Reset DS" when the whole map started falling apart. I've added the critical DS that was missing and it will rebuild right if the server resets again... though there is nothing I can do about it reseting all the ID data.

Weekend Update:
The last round of tests seems to have gotten the "Lost ID" bug under control!

I'll be uploading a new version that has a few minor improvements to the Basic Game and Team Mod Friday, while the next major update will add a dinner/drinks menu in the StarFighter Lounge as well as add the Genisis System, Planet Genisis, and 6 moons which I plan to make the foundation of various Gameplay modes like "Capture the Planets", "Starbase Capture" and "Build a World".

5/21/06:

StarFighters: PvP-Team Update

With what I learned with the Top Gun Contest, I've made some major upgrades.
* Max Level  is now lvl 10 but comes with an Elite StarFighter Title.
   Each time you would normally level from 10 to 11 you now earn 500 credits.
* "Mirror Tile" fix that occured after extreme Power PvP Fighting
* Seemingly Random Explosions in Safe Areas fixed
* No exp gain from Random PvP kills
* Experience for PvP in the Dueling Zone
* Players can Create thier own Teams
* Team Leader designation and Team controls

5/19/06:
TOP GUN Contest
I've used the theme of SpaceQuest (Prize Winning Dream in the Spring Festival) to make something truly unique in Furcadia and everyone is invited to come put it to the test.
I'll be holding a TOP GUN contest in the Dream Nommad:STARFIGHTERS Saturday from 12noon FST until 6pm FST and giving away 60 SD (Silver Dragonscales) to the top 3 players...
30 to the TOP GUN, 20 to the HOTSHOT with the 2nd highest score and 10 to 3rd place.
The Dream is up now in Challenges to do some final checks and balances.
And will run in Challenges during the ocntest
The Dream, All IDs and passwords will be reset before the contest begins Saturday.

5/14/06:

StarFighters: TopGun
I've done alot of work recently on StarFighters and it fairly stable now so I've added a few extras.
Some Slot Machines so that you can now gamble and get some good pay offs to buy that next Weapon Upgrade.
I've added some Ranks so everyone can see not only your Power and Level, but your prowess as a StarFighter, especially if you hold the TOP GUN Honor... It's not too difficult to become a Hot Shot, but only one can hold the title of Top Gun.

5/11/06:

Project Genisis 1st Place in the Spring Festival!
I was sad that there weren't more entries in the Master's Category, and didn't enter to win prizes, but the prizes are awesome and hope it inspires me to work some sort of games and activities into one of the new Lock and Load dreams StarFighter and Evolution that I can run some contest with.
The Stat Tracking and Lock and Load Feature seems to be working really well in StarFighter now, I just need more content to make it interesting enough for people to play more and want to come back.


5/8/06 :
LOCK and LOAD
Well, seems I can't get rid of the occasional "Lost ID" bug. However, if you LOCK your ID  you can LOAD your data and restore your ID.... The Save feature might not be viable for long term, but it is the best solution I can come up with so far to be able to have the Extreme Stat Tracking and PvP.
I also made a NEW alt for the Uploads... STARFIGHTERS ... heh whatelse...
I'm currently going to try and keep it running all week in AI at the F3 Camp Site Location.

5/7/06:
STARFIGHTERS PvP Dueling Zone!
I got the tracking and pvp working very well now, here are some other changes:
* Increased the amount of experience for Kills so you can level up alot faster,
* Changed upgrades +Bonus to be very worthwhile in PvP
* Photons have been changed to be more effective in PvP
* Temporarily closed the Genisis System JumpGate
* Added a small PvP/Dueling Arena with no AI interference.
*Misc Help Added
Ideas on the drawing board:
Get rid of the Weapons Range and turn it into "The StarFighter Lounge"
Add "Factions or Teams" then add Team Games and maybe a Team Bank.

STARFIGHTERS
Yesterday I'd hoped to get some help debugging the Stat Tracking after the Mason's meeting. I would have been nice to have some people up to speed with DS and Dreams to take a hands on look and give me some creative critisizm and advice, but not ONE mason even bothered to come in for 1 second... *sigh*
But that's okay, a few kids checking it out in AI got some wierdness happening and I figured a way to track down the bugs... with Nommad and SpaceQuest Furc characters I was able to really see what what going on with the tracking!

STARFIGHTERS:

I really want to see if this stat tracking can hold up under a "twitch" PvP environment.
Since my ideas for Evolution's environment is getting complex, I've turned my attention to adapting SpaceQuest to use the system.... Sometimes it seems to work very well, then suddenly it blows up.

4/30/06:

Save and Restore Built into the Dream through DS!
I did some testing of the new SpiritQuest this weekend leaving it up without reloading.
I seem to have manage to get a save and restore function working within the DS of the dream.
It only last as long as the dream is up and is cleared out with each new upload...
However, keeping it up for an extended period of time is a problem.
I had to reboot my PC and when I got back the dream had gone down....
I got some complaints from people who didn't realize everyone is reset when the dream is resets.
Oh well... how many other dreams are there that can remember your stats without a bot?
I did manage to keep it up for 24 hours:

[#] 9 spirits have returned.
[#] 5 spirits have lost focus.

Now that I've seen it work with minimal bugs, I'll be adding some more content and testing my HP and fighting system. I've already started a new Magic System that was in the dream this weekend.
As far as saving and restoring it looks like it won't be reliable for any length of time, but will still be useful.
The stat tracking certainly is....

4/22/06:
SpiritQuest: Evolution
Seems doing the SpaceQuest dream has got me all inspired to try and put all my best ideas into a big world that "evolves" with time and Furre interaction. It will be a Fantasy world rather than space and merge the ideas in NeverQuest, SpiritQuest, and ClanWars.
This one is more like the Original SpiritQuest with an even more advanced Experience and Leveling system and as much other interactive stuff I can squeeze into it. I usually upload and test with the SpiritQuest character if you want to take a look and if it's the actual bot on you can summon yourself in by saying `join SpiritQuest.
 I'm still working on alot of mechanics but gradually adding stuff you can interact with and gain exp....
I'm even working on a Save and Restore function so you can leave and restore your ID and stats later as long as the dream isn't reloaded or the Server Resets
A big Thank You to Carrie O'kaye's Stat system which is the basis of my new stat system.

Find the Easter Egg

Project Genisis is entered in the Spring Festival Dream Contest and as a contest within a contest there is an Easter Egg within the Space Quest dream. The prize are my "used" Batwings that expire 11/3/06.

Space Quest: Project Genesis:
I've been doing a bunch of work on the space dream and plan on entering it into the Junjinka's Spring Festival Dream Contest. I was looking for someone to do the ports for the space ships but have started doing it myself. I guess I'm just a little too paticular. But there is still time if anyone out there can make an awesome skin for it e-mail me. In the meantime I'm just polishing it up and adding little extras and working on a web page.

The Alpha Project
I've started a NEW dream... this one with a sci-fi theme. I'm still up in the air about the main title... I've toyed with Star Trak and SpaceQuest with a few other names bouncing in my head too. But this time it seems I'll be able to take it to another new level... Alpha Project is basically a Space / Action game where I'll be experimenting with some challenging AI code... as well as coming up with some new fighting abilities and stat systems. So far I've got a decent Dog Fight AI ... it has 16 possible attack paths and routines or actions. Hit Points or Life is called Energy with a maximum of 100. There is no real damage system incorporated into the Dream yet and no PvP, Yet....

Clan Wars: Tomb of the Ancients!
I've done alot of crunching of the max DS and managed to add an all new "High End" Quest to Clan Wars.
The Tomb of the Ancients adds more monsters,  more Max HP, as well as something I call "Favor of the Ancients" which will Increase Max Levels and Max HP.
